Email templates let administrators provide end users with consistent branding and standard text for messages. A user selects a template while composing an email, and the template populates the subject and body automatically. Administrators can scope templates to general use or to specific record types, and can restrict templates to selected roles. Templates also support email signatures that append automatically to each message a user creates. For definitions of every template setting, see Email Template Settings Reference.
