Adobe Acrobat Sign signature tags define the signer contact details, signing order, and signature field placement within Web Page Views.
It is recommended that global administrators enable the new syntax. Locate the System Options section in Global Settings, and toggle Enable New Variable Syntax on.

<!--SignatureEmailBody Please sign for record #: {{opportunityid}}-->
<!--SignatureCC abc123@smartsimple.com abc456@smartsimple.com-->

HTML Examples
Web Page Views configured for Adobe Acrobat Sign use signature tags together with variable syntax to define each signer and the signature field placement. The following examples show single, multiple, and sequential signature configurations.
Single Signature
For single signatures, reference custom fields containing the email, first name, and last name of the signer.
Example
The recipient has been added as a contact with the UTA/module role of Signee:
New syntax
<!--signature {{contact.Signee.email}};SIGNER;{{contact.Signee.firstname}};{{contact.Signee.lastname}};1-->
<br />
{{_es_:signer:signatureblock}}<br />
Name : {{contact.Signee.fullname}}<br />
Title : {{contact.Signee.title}}<br />Old syntax
<!--signature @contact.Signee.email@;SIGNER;@contact.Signee.firstname@;@contact.Signee.lastname@;1-->
<br />
{{_es_:signer:signatureblock}}<br />
Name : @contact.Signee.fullname@<br />
Title : @contact.Signee.title@<br />You can also hard-code the parameters when a specific contact will consistently sign the document:
<!--signature support@smartsimple.com;SmartSimple;Support;1-->
<br />
{{_es_:signer:signatureblock}}<br />
Name : SmartSimple Support<br />
Title : Support<br />Multiple Signatures
Use List Syntax for contacts together with the Adobe Signature Tag Parameters when configuring multiple signers.
Sequential Signatures
The order of signers is determined by their sequence on the Web Page View. If sorting by a criterion other than the signing number (for example, by name), leave the sequence parameter blank; the system assigns a number automatically on submission.
Example
This retrieves all contacts associated with the Level 1 having a role ID of 10991 or 10992, sorted by the value of UTA/module role field 1359726. The signature tag is delimited by semicolons in this order: email; SIGNER or APPROVER; first name; last name; index:
[#(?object=contact;criteria=(roleid='10991' or roleid='10992');orderby=tbl_1359726.valuestr)
<!--signature ~email~;SIGNER;~firstname~;~lastname~;~Index~-->
<br />{{_es_:signer~Index~:signature}}<br />
Initials : {{_es_:signer~Index~:optinitials}}<br />
Name : ~firstname~ ~lastname~<br />
Title : ~title~<br />
