A record page displays the details of an individual item within a grant application, including standard fields and custom fields. Record pages can be created for organizations, users, and Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 entities.
Who: Global Administrators
What Is a Record Page?
A record page is the workspace where users view, edit, and act on an individual record. From here, users can edit fields, change the status, attach notes, assign contacts and accounts, add the record to a SmartCard, and associate it with a Level 2 Activity.
Record pages are made up of standard fields and custom fields. Standard fields are predefined by the system's default settings, while custom fields are created and managed by the UTA/module Administrator to capture information specific to each application. When a new record is added, the record page prompts for this information across both field types.
When to Use Record Pages
Record pages are used whenever you need to view, edit, or act on an individual record. Common scenarios include:
- Reviewing or editing the details of a grant application or Level 1 entity.
- Changing the status of a record as it moves through a workflow.
- Attaching notes, assigning contacts, or adding a record to a SmartCard.
- Associating a Level 1 record with a Level 2 Activity.
- Configuring custom fields and layout for organizations or users.
