A personal dashboard visualizes UTA/module data through chart cards in SmartSimple. Chart cards can display data such as records by type or by status, and additional cards, including aggregate counts and list views, can be added to build a complete picture of the data.
Who: Global administrators and users with access to Dashboards.
When to Use a Personal Dashboard
Use a personal dashboard when:
- A visual summary of UTA/module data is needed, such as records by type or by status.
- A reusable view is needed to monitor key metrics without running a report each time.
Create a Dashboard
To create a personal dashboard:
- Click the User Menu in the upper navigation bar, and then select Dashboards from the drop-down menu.
- Click New and select Dashboard from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Name field, and enter a name for the dashboard.
- Click a grid to choose a layout option, and then click Save.
Add a Chart Card to a Dashboard
To add a chart card to the dashboard:
- Click the User Menu in the upper navigation bar, and then select Dashboards from the drop-down menu.
- Click New and select Card from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Title field, and enter a title for the card.
- Click the Type field, and select the relevant option from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Entity field, and select the relevant option from the drop-down menu.
- Enter the relevant information into the remaining fields, and then click Save.
NOTE Additional cards, including aggregate counts and list views, can be added to the same dashboard to create a more complete picture of your data.
