Assignment Grid Settings, Assignment Declaration Button Settings, and Assignment Reminder Settings control how the Assignment Grid displays, assigns, and tracks contacts on a Consumer record. This article defines each configuration field within these three settings sections for quick lookup.

Assignment Grid Settings Fields
The following fields configure how the Assignment Grid appears and functions on the Provider record.

| Link Caption | The name displayed when selecting the Assignment Grid in the Provider record. |
| Roles Available to | The roles permitted to select the Assignment Grid option in the Provider record. |
| Consumer Assignment Roles | Roles associated with the contacts section of the Consumer record. Used when assigning contacts to the Consumer record. |
| Consumer Status Filter | Statuses associated with the Consumer record. Controls which Consumer records are available for assignment. |
| Consumer Type Filter | Types associated with the Consumer record. Controls which Consumer records are available for assignment. |
| Contact Role Filter | Roles associated with the contacts section of the Provider record. Controls which contacts from the Provider record can be assigned to the Consumer record. |
| Summary Role | Roles associated with the contacts section of the Consumer record. Controls the roles referenced in the Summary section of the Assignment Grid. |
| Additional Options – Header Template for Contacts | Defines what is displayed in the column header for each individual contact shown in the Assignment Grid. |
| Additional Columns | Use the + button to add and define additional columns to display in the Assignment Grid section. |
Assignment Declaration Button Fields
The following fields configure the buttons contacts use to accept or decline an assignment.

| Type | A drop-down menu listing the Provider record types against which the buttons are available. |
| Monitored Role | A drop-down menu listing the roles with which the buttons can be used. Contacts assigned to the Consumer record in the selected role are presented with the Declaration Buttons. |
| Button Caption | The caption on the primary button that opens the Declaration section. |
| Header Caption | The header displayed in the Declaration section. |
| Template | Descriptive text displayed in the Declaration section. |
| Comment Field | A custom field used to store comments provided by the contact. |
| Yes – Button Label | The label on the button to accept the assignment. |
| Yes – Contact Role Change to | The role to which the contact is assigned in the Consumer record after clicking Yes. |
| Yes – Comment Fields Mandatory | A toggle indicating whether the contact must complete the Comment field after clicking Yes. |
| Yes – Create Level 2 | A toggle indicating whether a level 2 record is created after the contact clicks Yes. |
| Yes – Level 2 Default Type | The level 2 type created after the contact clicks Yes. |
| Yes – Level 2 Default Status | The level 2 status assigned after the contact clicks Yes. |
| Yes – Redirect URL | The URL to which the contact is redirected after clicking Yes. |
| No – Button Label | The label on the button to decline the assignment. |
| No – Contact Role Change to | The role to which the contact is assigned in the Consumer record after clicking No. |
Assignment Reminder Settings Fields
The following fields configure automated reminder emails sent to contacts before an assignment expires.

| Type | A drop-down menu listing the Provider record types against which the reminders are active. |
| Monitored Role | A drop-down menu listing the roles the reminders apply to. Contacts assigned to the Consumer record in the selected role receive Declaration Buttons. |
| Expired Role | A drop-down menu listing roles. Contacts are assigned to this role in the Consumer record if they have not responded by the Expiry Date. |
| Monitored Status | Statuses associated with the Provider record. Reminders are sent only when the Provider record has the selected status. |
| Expiry Date | The date on which a contact is assigned to the defined expired role if they have not accepted or declined the assignment request. |
| Email from Address | The email address used to send reminder emails. |
| Number of Days before Reminder 1 | The number of days before the Expiry Date when the first reminder email is sent. |
| Reminder 1 Subject | The subject line for the first reminder email. |
| Reminder 1 Body | The body content for the first reminder email. |
| Number of Days before Reminder 2 | The number of days before the Expiry Date when the second reminder email is sent. |
| Reminder 2 Subject | The subject line for the second reminder email. |
| Reminder 2 Body | The body content for the second reminder email. |
| Number of Days before Reminder 3 | The number of days before the Expiry Date when the third reminder email is sent. |
