General Description
This field type is utilized to establish sets of fields that are contingent upon a value selected from the Dynamic Dropdown List.
Field Options

| Custom Field ID | The unique identifier associated with the custom field. | Not Applicable |

| Field Name | The name of the field, utilized internally to reference the user's input; | @fieldname@ |
| Caption | The introductory question or prologue preceding the field. | @caption@ |
| Display Order | The sequence (in relation to other fields) in which this field is displayed. | @displayorder@ |
| Description | Definition and general description of the custom field. This will not be displayed. | @description@ |
Validation
- Mandatory: Selecting this option indicates that this field is required and must be completed.
- Appear Mandatory: This option makes the field appear as a required field, typically used in conjunction with browser scripts, JavaScript Validation, or Submit Logic that perform validation.
- Custom Validation:
- Failed Validation Message: This message is displayed if validation fails.
Feature Options
- Track Changes: This feature maintains a record of changes made to this field.
Value Storage
- From Custom Field(s): The custom field from which value(s) will be derived.
- To Custom Field: The custom field to which value(s) will be transmitted.
Permissions & Availability Tab
- Role - Field Permissions: These settings enable you to control access by Role, determining who is permitted to view and/or modify the field.
- Status - Field Permissions: These settings allow you to control access based on the Status of the record, determining whether the field can be viewed and/or modified. (Only available within the Universal Tracking Application)
- Type - Field Permissions: These settings allow you to control access based on the template of the record, determining whether the field can be viewed and/or modified. (Only available within the Universal Tracking Application)

- On New Record: This option is used to control when the field should be displayed.
