Overview
Secure mode is a feature found by navigating, as a Global Administrator, as follows:
System Administration (gear icon) >> Global Settings >> Security (tab) >> [Enable Enhanced Security Mode - preset and disable configurations on system security related options, which will also disable legacy applications]
Enhanced Security Mode deactivates potentially unsafe functionalities that are inadvisable for use when engaging with clients who prioritize security, such as government agencies.
When secure mode is activated, it will:
- Establish predefined security settings and render these settings read-only
- Disable permissions for legacy applications and menu functionalities
- Convert all rich text fields to multi-line text fields and eliminate the capability to create or import new rich text fields
- Prohibit the uploading of files with the "exe" extension
